MCNSI

(Monte Carlo simulation of Neutron Scattering Instruments)

MCNSI is a European based collaboration with 7 partners (links in the left hand menu).

The project has three main aims

• Providing software packages for making Monte Carlo simulations of Neutron scattering
• Benchmark these packages agains each other, the corresponding American packages, and real experiments
• Develop the packages towards the point where complete virtual experiments can be performed

MCNSI is a Joint Research Activity under the EU-contract NMI3 (Integrated Infrastructure Initiative for Neutron Scattering and Muon Spectroscopy).
